Obituary for Joanne Veronica Becker (Batte)

Joanne Veronica Becker (nee Batte), formerly of Formosa, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton. She was 88.

Beloved mother of Bill (Linda) of Corunna and Marcia Becker-Cox of North Bay. Proud grandmother of Olias and Alyssa Becker and Sarah and Veronica Cox. Joanne is also missed by her brothers Bill, Wayne, Joe, David and Stephen and her sisters Rene Milos, Sister Simone Batte, Marlene Christie, Ruth Cleary, Yvonne Parsons, Dianne Cotter, Judy McCoubrey, Angela Jansen and Valarie Grady.

Joanne was predeceased by her husband Jim; brothers Ken and Brad and her parents Joseph and Anne (nee Doyle) Batte.

Joanne's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge St. S).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Formosa (212 Bruce County Road 12). Rev. Michael Anderson officiating.

Interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Formosa.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer's Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Cards available at the funeral home.
